This solution addresses the challenges faced by the city in on-site emergency communication for firefighting.
Mexico City’s urban landscape, characterized by high-rise buildings, dense metro networks, and large commercial complexes, has made it increasingly difficult to ensure effective communication during emergency situations. Designing solutions for such complex environments can be quite challenging. These environments often present unique obstacles and require specialized technologies to overcome them. However, it is crucial to develop robust and resilient solutions to ensure the safety and well-being of people living. To tackle this issue, BelFone has designed a secure and future-proof dispatch and command solution to ensure communication coverage in urban areas and on-site command centers.
The BMC solution is tailor made to address the challenges of emergency communications in urban firefighting scenarios. It provides a three-level integrated command platform that enables visualized command and control of communication operations. This platform greatly enhances work efficiency and ensures that communications are easily accessible, visible, and controllable. With the BF-TR925 Ad Hoc repeater and BF-TD930 (MC-N), BF-SCP810 portable radios, firefighters can effectively coordinate their efforts and improve communication efficiency in challenging environments.
“One of the key features of the solution is its ability to utilize TR925 Ad Hoc network resources in extreme circumstances when the backbone network is destroyed. This resolves signal coverage issues in narrowband communication blind spots and further extends the communication network to the last mile for life saving,” addressed by Jerome Xue, Vice President of BelFone Overseas.  
The BF-SCP810 multi-mode radio integrates PoC (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) and DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) into one device, the BMC solution combines it with BF-TD930(MC-N) Ad Hoc radio, utilizing all the rich features of both devices under the BMC network to establish strong communication coverage and connect firefighters of Mexico City. It enables the establishment of an on-site network, ensuring seamless connectivity with HF, MESH networks, 4G public networks, and satellite communications. Allowing firefighters to stay connected and make critical operations count, even in areas with limited signal coverage.
By improving the efficiency of rescue work and ensuring the safety of people’s lives and property, the BMC solution revolutionizes emergency communication for urban firefighting in Mexico City.
